Monday, November 11
Monthly Meeting – beginning at 6 pm at Mimi’s Café at 4316 The 25 Way NE, ABQ. Since this is a dinner meeting, you are encouraged to arrive around 5:30 pm. We will start the meeting after everyone has placed their dinner order and take a break when food is served.
No Activity is planned for November since the Holiday Weekend will be December 6-8 in T or C, NM.
December 2024
Friday - Sunday, December 6-8
ANNUAL HOLIDAY WEEKEND – The December event will be our annual Holiday Weekend trip, this year in Truth or Consequences, NM. The Pelican Spa (306 S Pershing St., T or C) has been selected to be our base location for the weekend. It has a large room that has been reserved for us to use while we are there -- beginning Friday evening.
Our schedule, while flexible, will include most of the following:
Friday Evening:
1. We can start gathering in our Meeting Room after we check in starting around 4 pm.
2. You should plan to bring something to munch on or have with dinner, which will be pizza that we pick up or have delivered. Please also bring whatever you want to drink as the whole weekend is a BYOB event.
Saturday Will Include:
1. Gather in the Meeting Room and go to breakfast (we will probably identify the location Friday night). It is nice to join the group as we have a good time and cab make plans for the day’s activities and possibly who you want to do them with.
2. We need to gather back in our Meeting Room at 3:00 pm for our MONTHLY MEETING. In addition to our regular business a slate of officers for the 2025-'26 year will be identified. You are encouraged to come prepared to offer your input.
3. DINNER AT LOS ARCOS STEAKHOUSE (1400 N Date St, T or C) at 5:00 pm SHARP. They do not take reservations so we need to all be there so we can be seated together.
4. We encourage you to go back to the meeting room after dinner to finish off the day.
Sunday:
1. We will have breakfast together if you don't decide to leave early, at a location TBD.
2. Start the rest of your day and trip whether that be in T or C, another location, or home. (Herb has suggested a stop at of Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge (located in San Antonio, Socorro County) on the way home for those who are not in a hurry and would like to see the birds and some other wildlife.)
Hopefully, you have made your reservations for a hotel room. If not and you would like to join
the group we encourage you to go to pelican-spa.com or call 575-894-0055. It probably isn't
too late because while the main building rooms may be sold out, there are other buildings in the Pelican complex which may have rooms still available.

New Year's Day Brunch – at Casa Boning, 4408 Sombra Pl NW, ABQ beginning at 10 am. Please plan to bring your favorite brunch dish for the potluck and join the Club in celebrating the NEW YEAR!

Super Bowl Party – at Casa Furlong, 5738 Cletsoway Dr SW, ABQ. Since kick off will be around 4:30 pm Mountain time, we plan to get together around 3 pm and eat before the game starts. We will have dessert at half time. This will be a potluck --PLEASE -- No popcorn or sticky drinks. More info as the date gets closer.

April 2025

Annual Meeting – As outlined in the AOCNM bylaws our Annual meeting will be held the first Sunday in April. A suggested location for the meeting is D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro at 3771 NM-528, ABQ (just south of Rio Rancho). Availability is being checked.
Saturday, April 26
April Rally – is in the planning stage. Save the date.
May 2025
An activity being discussed for May is a day trip to Chaco Canyon. This is only under discussion,
